August — Yes, August
This sounds absurd but it's not. August is when serious dog Christmas shoppers start thinking about advent calendars and limited edition Christmas gift boxes. If a specific calendar or box sold out before Christmas last year, the time to secure it this year is before the seasonal range launches. September — The Planning Month
September is when it's worth making a list. Dogs you're buying for. Budgets for each. What they liked last year. What they've outgrown. Whether their size or dietary needs have changed. A September list means October and November buying is efficient rather than panicked.
October — Buy Advent Calendars Now
This is not a drill. Dog advent calendars sell out in October and early November consistently. If you want one, buy it in October. The ones left in late November are the ones nobody else wanted.
October is also a good time to buy larger Christmas gift boxes, particularly if you're buying multiple. Stock of specific configurations can run low.
November — Main Christmas Shopping Window

A subscription gift can be ordered right up until Christmas — the 'gift' is the ongoing deliveries, not a physical item. Order a subscription plan, print a note or send a message explaining what's coming, and the first box arrives in January.
